I unfortunately haven't heard any of this group's earlier stuff so I am not an expert on them, but I can say that this is an excellent album. The group is from Germany so they have a lot of the experimental stuff that is often found in German music, but their lyrics are in English (in case you were getting worried). This album balances poppy melodies with glitchy electronics and traditional instruments as well. They have great melodies, interesting lyrics, and overall some very creative and enjoyable songs. A couple of my favorite songs from the album are "Consequence" and "One with the Freaks"
