Check this out guys, http://general.gamerfeed.com/gf/news/6047/

i dont know, it sounds awesome, but there are so many ways they could screw it up. first of all, i think to pull it off it would have to be a LOT like samurai jack...no talking AT ALL for like the first third of the movie, and lots of blowing stuff up. Samus has always been like the silent badass, running around blowing stuff up. she never says anything but we know shes like the biggest badass ever. i think trying to work in dialouge might just ruin her character. For example, in the GBA version of metroid (fusion i think), she went into these long boring speeches, and although it did setup some plot and give us some back story...when did we ever need those? i think as long as the movie focuses on her being as hardcore as we know she is and not on a touchy feely plot i think it'll be awesome. (also, it should def. show samus in the bikini at the end of the movie, like it does after the credits of the games when you beat them fast enough). what do you guys think the perfect metroid movie sohuld have?

Well, I gave your question some thought.

Heres what I came up with:

The beginning of the movie would have a sinister feel to it. You would get the sense that something serious was about to happen, that powerful things lay in wait just ready to spring to life. The music would be creepy. And I like ur idea that the movie would have little dialogue. There would be no talking at all in this movie. A few minutes into the movie action would break out, and the music would start to kick all kinds of butt, and samus would follow suit, killing all manner of baddie with all kinds of crazy moves. Throughout the movie she would uncover a mix of things that originally were hidden or unreachable to her; she would use these things to become God-like in power. The best part of this movie: you could control samus with a controller!

oh wait...I just described the game for the SNES (the greatest platformer of all time btw). I do not think Woo can do this game justice. He needs to back down, Now!

Does this mean there could not be a sweet metroid movie? No. It is possible that a Metroid movie could be awesome. But I have doubts that the style Woo would deliver could ever come close to matching the style that the games have had over the years. Get a different director, and maybe I would be on board.
