I finally watched There Will Be Blood over the weekend and was once again reminded of what a great actor Daniel Day-Lewis is. Seriously, he's scary good.

The movie is based on a novel called "Oil!" by Upton Sinclair (1927) and is the story of ruthless oil man. The movie was well acted and written and kept me interested for most of the movie. It was a little weird not having any real protagonist to cheer for and by the end I was left somewhat confused and a bit depressed. But as I think back on it today, I find myself enjoying the movie more and more.

Anyways, it's definitely worth watching if for the sole purpose of just watching Daniel Day-Lewis' performance.
